There's a wonderful coffee house, Mind's Eye Coffee, in Ferndale, CA that, besides having a kayaking building workshop in the back of the building where it's located, also has an enviable private assortment of books for customers who loves nature, adventure, or growing things to enjoy perusing. I have leafed through Ploughman's Folly innumerable times when we've visited there once or twice a year. Today, I decided to buy a copy for myself. Along the way, I found your Substack!
