Adam, I'm sorry for your loss. I hope you and your family will soon find more joy than sorrow in your memories of Samadhi. Those of us who have shared special bonds with canine companions are lucky, indeed.

Adam, Sorry to hear of your loss. Sounds like Samadhi was truly special. When our beloved Taylor died many years, I found solace in Robinson Jeffers amazing poem The House Dog's Grave.

You were never masters, but friends. I was your friend.

I loved you well, and was loved. Deep love endures

To the end and far past the end. If this is my end,

I am not lonely. I am not afraid. I am still yours.
